Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Business/Financial Analyst who will lead financial reporting, forecasting, and budgetin processes for promotional activitie. This opportunity is located in Bernards, NJ!
Duties:
- Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Accounting, etc.) to align financial decisions with business goals
- Act as a financial advisor, offering strategic insights to support new initiatives and business growth opportunities
- Utilize EDW systems to extract large datasets, analyze trends, and develop actionable insights that drive performance improvements
- Negotiate co-funding agreements with equipment manufacturers to secure favorable terms and increase profitability
- Design and implement strategies to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or four or more years of work experience
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Project management experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and chart creation, along with experience in PowerPoint and Word
- Experience using Essbase for multi-dimensional financial analysis and data storage solutions
- Proficiency in Smart View for ad-hoc reporting and efficient access to financial data
- Expertise in Hyperion Planning for building complex financial models and conducting long-term planning
- Experience with Hyperion Strategic Finance to support scenario analysis and strategic financial decision-making
- Knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) systems for extracting and managing large data volumes for financial reporting and analysis
- Experience using Tableau or Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visually impactful financial reports
- Proficiency in SQL for querying EDW systems and conducting in-depth data analysis to support business cases and promotional activities
- Experience using Salesforce to track customer profitability and integrate financial data with customer behavior insights
