Our client is seeking a Essbase Admin to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, MO.
Duties:
- Plan and execute quarterly Oracle Essbase patches across development, testing, and production environments
- Analyze patch release notes and assess the impact on existing Essbase applications and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain detailed patch deployment plans, including rollback procedures
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to schedule and execute patch deployments
- Perform thorough testing and validation of patches to ensure functionality and stability
- Monitor Essbase server performance and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Manage Essbase security, including user access control and permissions
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless Essbase operations
- Adhere to established change management processes for all patch deployments and system modifications
- Perform routine Essbase administration tasks, including database maintenance, performance tuning, and security management
