Duties:
- Backup and restore services Windows Server Backup, Azure Backup, AWS Backup
- Conduct technical aspects at various MAI stages and gather technology posture
- Close collaboration with security to understand risks and mitigation activities
- Categorize the deal into one of the 4 model approach
- Design document and solution approaches, sign offs
- Conduct POC and any research activities, collaboration with other teams
- Implement migration solution based on the approved design
- Create runbook for support takeover
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 8+ years of experience as Infrastructure Engineer required
- Experience with: Email migration, SSO Authentication, IAM, DNS cutover
- Experience with authentication using: Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect
- Experience with server patching and management on: SCCM, Ninja One, ESX, XenServer, UCS Firmware, vSphere
- Knowledge of disaster recovery using: Site Recovery Manager, Active Directory Authoritative Restore and object level restore, AWS, Azure
- Server, Storage and Networking preferred certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Cisco, AWS, and Azure
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in corporate tools and software: Service Now, Office 365, Email migration, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
- Working knowledge of Windows server, AD, DNS, WINS, cloud compute environments, Microsoft office suite, Office 365, Exchange 365
- Expertise with windows operating systems, including: SMB/CIFS, DNS, Active Directory, and WSUS, Windows Imaging WDS/MDT
- Expertise with operating system lifecycle management
- Expertise with various consumer and enterprise operating systems such as: Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS, Android
- Expertise with Infrastructure as a Service platform including: VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP and OpenStack
- Ability to determine root-cause for incidents, correlate recurring incidents to systemic problems, and drive towards resolution
- Strong sense of customer service, values, and ethics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management with the ability to organize, assess, and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others
- Ability to adapt to quickly changing business conditions
- Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
- Familiar with solutions hosted in the cloud such as: Azure, AWS, etc.
- Willingness to grow and share his/her knowledge with others on the team
